1. Parties and Scope

This agreement is concluded between Latro Kimya Dış Ticaret A.Ş. ("Latro") and the user who visits or registers on the site ("User"). It covers the product catalogue, technical content, formulation information, AI-assisted consultation service and membership services offered through the site.

2. Nature of the Service

The site is intended for the presentation of chemical raw materials and solutions, sharing technical information and enabling corporate customers to submit requests. No direct online sales are made through the site; requests submitted constitute a request to start a conversation, not an offer to enter into a sales contract.

3. Membership and Account Security

• Membership is intended for corporate users; you must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
• You agree that the information you provide during registration is accurate, genuine and complete, and that you will update it promptly if it changes.
• Protecting the confidentiality of your password is your responsibility. You may not use another person's username and password, nor allow anyone else to use yours.
• Actions carried out using the password assigned to you are your responsibility, even where those actions were not in fact authorised by you.
• If you notice or suspect unauthorised use of your password, you must change it immediately and notify us.
• Latro reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where false information is provided or the account is misused. In that case your access to password-protected areas ends.
• You may request termination of your membership at any time.

4. Use of Technical Information — Important Notice

Product specifications, technical data sheets (TDS), safety data sheets (MSDS), formulation examples, usage rates and answers generated by the AI assistant on this site are FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.

This information does not constitute a warranty, undertaking or statement of fitness for a particular purpose. The usability, compatibility and safety of products in a specific application vary according to formulation conditions, production method and applicable legislation.

Before using the products, the User is obliged to carry out the necessary tests under their own conditions, verify compliance with applicable legislation (chemical substances, cosmetics, plant protection products, food-contact materials, etc.) and obtain any required permits.

Latro cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages arising from applications based on this information.

5. AI Assistant (LUPİ)

• LUPİ is an AI-assisted helper provided to give quick guidance on technical questions.
• Its answers may contain incorrect, incomplete or outdated information; it does not replace professional technical consultancy.
• Direct contact with the Latro technical team is recommended before critical decisions.
• Trade secrets, personal health data or confidential information belonging to third parties should not be shared with the assistant.
• A daily usage limit may be applied for fair use.

6. Rules of Use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• Submit content contrary to applicable legislation, law or morality
• Use another person's identity or provide misleading information
• Attempt to circumvent the site's security measures or make unauthorised access attempts
• Extract data in bulk using automated tools (bots, scrapers) or overload the system
• Reproduce or republish site content for commercial purposes without Latro's written permission
• Distribute viruses, trojans or similar malicious software; take actions that stop or obstruct the operation of the site, or cooperate with third parties acting in this way
• Send unsolicited commercial e-mail to other users; harvest usernames or e-mail addresses by electronic or other means
• Use the site for purposes other than those for which it is provided, or in an unauthorised manner

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the site — trademarks, logos, designs, texts, images, videos, catalogue data and software — is protected under Turkish Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works and related legislation, and all intellectual property rights therein belong to Latro or its licensors.

This content may not be copied, distributed, modified, republished or used to create derivative works except for personal, non-commercial review.

8. Representations and Indemnity

You represent and warrant that all information you submit to the site is accurate, complete and not misleading.

You are solely responsible for any damage arising from information that is false, incomplete or misleading, or from your breach of these terms. You agree to indemnify Latro for the direct damages it incurs and for amounts it is required to pay as a result of claims brought by third parties on these grounds.

9. Limitation of Liability

The site is provided "as is". Latro does not warrant that the site will operate uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Latro cannot be held liable for use or inability to use the site, decisions taken in reliance on the content, data loss or indirect damages.

This limitation does not exclude liability arising from Latro's intent or gross negligence.

10. Third-Party Links

The site may contain links to third-party websites. Latro is not responsible for the content, privacy practices or security of those sites.

11. Changes

Latro reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Turkish law applies to the interpretation and application of these terms. The Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Execution Offices have jurisdiction over any disputes. The rights of users qualifying as consumers under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 are reserved.
