Water Repellents Agents
There are two main phenomena about the moisture management of textile surfaces as water repellency and water resistance. Water repellent issues take place in the textile industry. Most common and efficient water repellent agents include fluorocarbon structures such as C6 and C8 technologies restricted and following up regulations tightly due to harmful by-products such as PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid). Besides also water repellency functionality is possible with silicone including finishing chemicals even if poorer in terms of oil repellency.
