We, Instead Of Me

The legal person in contemporary law takes its foundations from Roman law. And this concept has a different line of development and change. One of the reasons for its emergence is the feeling that the power and life of a single human being will not be enough, and the necessity of resorting to the labor of groups of people in order to achieve some goals related to people. In other words, at its very core, institutions were born as systems that would benefit people. After the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, in a process that started in Medieval Europe, the concept and accordingly various legal person classifications were made based on Roman legal texts. The most striking aspect of these periods is the necessity of corporate legal entities to benefit society rather than generate profits on their own.
We, Instead Of Me

In today's world, when we look at the Fortune 500 companies, we can count only 54 companies that have managed to stay on this list since 1955. In fact, the current economic system has not only damaged the ecosystem but also started to destroy itself. 446 companies, 88% of them -the majority- have ceased their activities during this period for various reasons or have regressed to lower ranks.

Although companies that are aware of the danger have added the word "sustainable" to the beginning of the concept of "growth", we are in a period where we are slowly beginning to see examples of how individual approach and not serving the whole cannot pave the way for an innovative approach.

With this perspective, we are actually in the process of returning to the essence rather than a change. The expression, “I want it for our future, for us.” rather than “I want it right now, I just want it for myself.” has become indispensable for the sustainability of institutions and the happiness of individuals. In other words, we can call it a transition from egocentric people to ecosystemic platforms.

It is undeniable that the sum we can get when we think only of ourselves will be less than the output we get when we think collectively. Actually, as Latro, when we talk about moving to the collective mind, we aim not to give up with a romantic approach but to expand the system by creating a more significant benefit. By constantly growing the cake instead of struggling by dividing the existing cake fairly, we create value for the whole. With a collective approach, we transfer the common will and intelligence to our ecosystem.

Of course, it is not easy to make polyphony and unpopular voices audible. We are aware that the main obstacle is centralized administrations where decision-making mechanisms are concentrated in one place. For this reason, we apply a single rule to make the collective management approach sustainable;

"We make decisions based on data and competence. We make our processes transparent and take responsibility for our decisions."

Our decision-making mechanism doesn't control through a few leaders or managers, bringing agility to mind the possibility of making mistakes and making wrong decisions. Of course, we know that we will make mistakes or possibly missed opportunities. However, the ideas we have gained and realized with a collective point of view are so many that what we miss compared to the alternative remains like a few pebbles in a huge ocean. And we are nourished by the richness of crossing from a pond to the ocean.

No conversation takes place without data, the table is set with the interpretation and analysis of the data so that the extraordinary ideas in the minds are meaningful and the probability of creating possibilities increases.

Using competencies; Whether it's a manager, a team member, a manufacturer, an R&;D worker, a customer, or a supplier, the main issue is whoever has the most control over the subject, their opinion is sought. Teams can take decisions quickly with the realities of the day and implement this; the only limitation here is transparency. Everyone can see everything transparently and transfer the decisions taken to the ecosystem with the same transparency.

Everyone is interested in the cause of the events, not just the how’s, thus opening the way for trying very different ways. No team takes responsibility based on their position or title. Everyone takes all the responsibility, just as it embraces success. He embraces mistakes with greater happiness so that the most crucial step of the learning process is benefited. We want to produce together, create value, and do this by growing together so that our contribution to the ecosystem we are in is invaluable. Instead of focusing on the struggle to share resources, we need minds thinking of extraordinary ways to raise resources.

Just as we said "for human beings" centuries ago when we set out on this road, we wish for the days when we will return to our essence!
